Once students reach 13yrs+ we consider them to be our ‘seniors’. Some students may have been dancing for a number of years and a full range of more advanced classes become available. Others however, may be brand new to dance and this absolutely fine – we welcome and encourage all older beginners and will help you to build a programme that is perfect for your individual needs.
Alongside grades 1-5, at a higher level in ballet, we introduce the beautiful grades 6-8, plus the introduction of the vocational classes (inter-foundation and intermediate), pointe work and free work ballet. Modern, tap and acro continue to offer a full range of graded classes with advanced students reaching intermediate/advanced levels. Senior musical theatre offers a place for those wishing to expand their training in singing and drama, and the RADAR conditioning class is a must-do strength and stretch session designed to develop incredible kicks, jumps, leaps and turns. For those wishing to study jazz, the silver or gold class would be recommended based on experience. Contemporary and lyrical is very popular for those studying GCSE/A Level dance and compliments other subjects beautifully.
